Not all inks are created
equal!
India ink does not work well for calligraphy; it contains
a lacquer component which makes it waterproof when dry. It also will not
give you sharp, crisp letters and strokes. My first choice is Pelikan Fount
India, which is not waterproof. If you want your final product to be waterproof,
you can spray it with a clear fixative.
